The 5 Best Drinks To Pair With Your Dugout Mug

Beer, wine, & liquor - those are the usual players in a Dugout Mug, Wined Up or Knob Shot. While all of those options are stars in their own right, we wanted to share some of our favorite concoctions that show the true versatility of our products. Here are five delectable drinks recipes to pair with your Dugout Mug collection.

1. America's Past Time: Classic Coke Float

  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Coca-Cola
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon vanilla
  • Maraschino cherry

Perfect for the kids to beat the heat and enjoy while watching a ball game. Nothing says baseball like an ice cold beverage in our original Dugout Mug. Top it with ice cream to make a classic Coke Float, or substitute the teaspoon of vanilla for some vanilla vodka to kick it up a notch for a grown up guilty pleasure.

2.  Cracker Jack Cocktail

  • 2 oz.  Irish whiskey
  • 1 oz. Amaretto liqueur
  • 1 oz. butterscotch schnapps
  • 3 oz. Canada Dry ginger ale and lemonade
  • Caramel corn or Cracker Jacks, for garnish

This cocktail will have you singing Take Me Out To The Ballgame from your living room. Enjoy the sweetness of butter scotch and Cracker Jack combo as you indulge with this drink out of your favorite Wined Up.

 The Natural

  • 2 oz. dark rum
  • 1 oz. brandy
  • .75 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • .5 oz. grenadine

Robert Redford's 1984 hit movie was a natural fit with baseball fans and this drink will be too. Dark rum, brandy, lemon juice, and grenadine shaken to perfection all ready to go down smooth in our classic Dugout Mug.

Grand Slam Sangria

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup Cointreau (or triple sec)
  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 1 1/2 cups club soda
  • Sliced strawberries (about 1 cup)
  • 1 peach, sliced
  • 1–2 oranges, sliced
  • 1/2 lemon, sliced
  • 1/2 lime, sliced

This sangria combines a variety of fruits and fruit juices with a classic red wine. Throw it all together in a pitcher and serve in your favorite team's Wined Up and you are ready to go!

5. Curveball Colada Shooter

  • 1 oz. pineapple vodka
  • 1/2 oz. coconut vodka
  • 1/2 oz. pineapple juice

If shots are your forte, bust out a row of Knob Shots  and serve up a curveball from your traditional straight shots. Nothing says summer time like a pina colada shooter!
