8 Healthy Habits To Feel Better And Live Better

Ready for your healthiest year yet? We want to help!

Join us in our Metal Movement Challenge and follow these 8 simple lifestyle habits to feel and live better!

1. Drink Water

HYDRATE! So many times we forget to drink water, and it leaves us feeling sluggish. Make sure you're getting the water your body needs to function at its best! Metal Dugout Mugs make great travel mugs, and if you're moving around, you definitely need to be hydrating!

2. Go For A Walk

Walking is one exercise that won't cost you anything besides your time. It requires no equipment and can be performed pretty much anywhere, although we prefer our walks outside in the fresh air with a Metal Mug in hand! The health benefits of walking are endless, and experts agree by adding walking to your daily routine, you can improve your physical and mental health.

3. Drink Green Tea

Ditch your morning cup of coffee for a cup of green tea! Green tea works as a natural stimulant to help boost your mood and wake you up. It is an excellent source of antioxidants that can benefit your health — plus it tastes pretty freaking good, especially out of a Metal Mug!

4. Go For A Bike Ride

The key to exercise is moving your body and what better way than going for a bike ride! Not all of us are lucky enough to have a Peloton, but hopefully, you have a good ol' regular bicycle. Metal Dugout Mugs fit perfectly into cup holders so you can hydrate while you're on the move!

5. Drink Protein Shakes

Protein shakes can help add protein and nutrition to your diet while promoting muscle gain and improving performance and recovery. They are easy to make and sometimes replace a meal, leaving you with only a Metal Mug to wash instead of a sink full of dishes.

6. Hit The Gym

The first step is the hardest part. GET THERE! Set a time, set a reminder, wear your gym clothes all day — whatever you have to do to hold yourself accountable and hit the gym. Start small, set goals, and the results will come later. WARNING: Only take your Metal Mug with you if you're in the mood for conversations.

7. Play A Round Of Golf

Golfing is another great way to exercise and improve your mood. Walking, carrying your bag, and swinging can all increase your heart rate and blood flow —  while being out in the fresh air can help reduce stress. (We aren't making any claims here about stress. If you're not having your best round...you probably have the urge to break your club in half, but just remember to focus on what matters. HEALTH IS WEALTH. As long as you're staying hydrated and moving your body, you're winning in our book!)

8. PLAY BALL!

Did you guess it right? Our favorite healthy habit is baseball. Playing baseball is a great way to get active. No matter the age, our Metal Mugs are a must-have! So stay hydrated, stay active, and keep SWIGGIN' for the fences!
